“This video isn’t available”

This message means the platform itself refused to hand over the media — not that the downloader broke. Under the hood we ask the platform for the post; when it answers with “deleted”, “removed”, TikTok status 10204, or simply returns no video formats at all, that is what you see. In practice it comes down to one of four things: the post was deleted by its author, it was removed by moderation, the account was suspended, or the post was switched from public to private after you saved the link. A link that worked last week and fails today has almost always been taken down in the meantime.

  1. Open the link in a private/incognito window. If it does not load for you either, the post is gone and no downloader can reach it.
  2. If it loads for you but fails here, check whether you are logged in — the post is probably private or restricted, not public.
  3. Copy the full URL from the browser address bar instead of using the app’s share button. Share links sometimes point at a redirect that has already expired.
  4. For TikTok specifically, error 10204 is the platform’s own “content unavailable” code. It is returned before we ever get to the video.

Can I recover a deleted video?
No. Once a post is removed from the platform, the file is no longer served and there is nothing left to fetch.
